How much does a website cost in Belgium?
In Belgium, a freelancer advertises a business website from €900 and a landing page from €499, a traditional Brussels agency charges €3 000 to €10 000, and subscriptions range from €69 to €150/month. An online shop starts at around €2 000. Outside subscriptions, the providers surveyed charge €19 to €59/month for maintenance.
These ranges come from prices published by Belgian providers themselves (see the table below). Three things affect them: the number of pages and features, how bespoke the design is, and what stays included after launch (hosting, updates, support and SEO).
Freelancer, agency or subscription: what does each cost?
Among the Belgian providers surveyed, a freelancer advertises a landing page from €499 and a business website from €900, a traditional Brussels agency charges €3 000 to €10 000, and subscriptions range from €69 to €150/month. The difference mainly comes down to what stays included after launch: hosting, maintenance and support.
Option | Example recorded in September 2026 | Advertised price | After launch |
|---|---|---|---|
Freelancer: landing page | wardim.dev, freelance developer in the province of Liège | from €499 (VAT not specified) | maintenance from €19/month |
Freelancer: 5 to 10-page business website | wardim.dev | from €900 (VAT not specified) | maintenance at €19, €39 or €59/month |
Freelancer: online shop | wardim.dev | from €2 000 (VAT not specified) | maintenance at €19, €39 or €59/month |
Eazyclick: one-off price | our KickStarter, GlowUp and Booster packages | €1,490, €3,990 or €7,990 | hosting and maintenance: €450/year |
Traditional agency | range quoted by codexia.be for a Brussels agency | €3 000 to €10 000 (VAT not specified) | depending on the contract |
Subscription | codexia.be, Hainaut | from €79/month, 12 months | hosting included for 12 months, then €49/month |
Subscription | flowbelgium.be | €150/month, no commitment | described as “all-inclusive” |
Eazyclick: subscription | our KickStarter package | €69/month over 24 months (€89 over 12 months) + €249 setup fee | hosting, maintenance and project manager included |
These prices cannot be compared line by line: a “from” price always covers a specific scope. Before signing, ask how many pages are planned, who writes the copy, what happens after launch and who owns the website.
One-off purchase or subscription: which should you choose?
A one-off purchase suits a website that will change little and that someone in your business knows how to maintain: you pay everything upfront, then hosting each year. A subscription spreads the cost and includes maintenance and improvements, but often ties you in for 12 or 24 months. The table compares both options, point by point.
Criteria | One-off purchase | Subscription |
|---|---|---|
Upfront cost | The entire website, paid in one go | A lower setup fee, then a monthly payment |
Hosting and maintenance | Charged separately each year | Included in the monthly payment |
Updates and security | Commission separately or handle yourself | Handled by the provider |
Improvements (new page, new service) | A new quote each time | Often included in monthly support |
Commitment | None after delivery | Usually 12 or 24 months |
Website ownership | Usually yours once paid for | Depends on the contract: read the clause |
Let's calculate the cost over two years using our own prices. The KickStarter subscription comes to €1,905 excl. VAT (€249 setup fee + 24 × €69). The same website as a one-off purchase comes to €2,390 excl. VAT (€1,490 + two years of hosting and maintenance at €450). Do this calculation over your website's expected lifespan.
Our view: a one-off purchase suits a website that will change little and that someone in your business knows how to maintain. A subscription suits you if your website needs to bring in enquiries every month: you pay for ongoing support as well as the build.
What affects the price of a website?
Seven things affect a website's price: the number of pages and languages, the design (adapted template or bespoke), features (bookings, shop, payments), copy and photos, SEO, maintenance after launch and tools connected to the website. The more bespoke work involved, the more working days it takes.
- The number of pages and languages. A one-page website takes less work than a ten-page website. Each language adds copy to translate and optimise for search: in Brussels, a website in French and Dutch is often the norm.
- The design: adapted template or bespoke. A template adapted to your colours costs less. A design created for you (mock-ups, visual identity) takes more working days.
- The features. A contact form is straightforward. Online booking, a shop, a members area or payments each require configuration and testing. A shop adds a catalogue, delivery, VAT and terms and conditions of sale.
- The copy and photos. Who writes the copy? Text written for Google and your customers, together with quality photos, affects both the budget and the results.
- Search engine optimisation (SEO). Basic technical SEO (speed, structure) is part of a well-built website. Ongoing work (new content, ranking monitoring) is charged monthly: our SEO Boost starts at €99/month.
- What happens after launch. Hosting, backups, security updates, small changes, analytics: a website left without maintenance ages and becomes vulnerable to security flaws.
- The tools connected to your website. When website enquiries arrive in a tracking tool instead of an inbox, you stop losing customers. At Eazyclick, you can add these tools (CRM, quotes, invoices, bookings) from €19/month with a 24-month commitment.
How much does an Eazyclick website cost?
At Eazyclick, a website costs €69, €149 or €299/month excl. VAT over 24 months depending on the package (KickStarter, GlowUp or Booster), plus a €249 to €1,490 setup fee, or €1,490 to €7,990 as a one-off purchase. All three packages include hosting, maintenance and a dedicated project manager:
Package | Purpose | 24 months | 12 months | One-off price |
|---|---|---|---|---|
KickStarter | Get online: one-page website, technical SEO, mini-CRM, project manager for launch | €69/month + €249 | €89/month + €249 | €1,490 |
GlowUp | Generate enquiries: bespoke website with up to 6 pages, 2 languages, full CRM, project manager 3 h/month | €149/month + €699 | €179/month + €699 | €3,990 |
Booster | Accelerate: website with up to 15 pages, 3 languages, premium SEO, 2 business modules, project manager 6 h/month | €299/month + €1,490 | €349/month + €1,490 | €7,990 |
Prices excl. VAT from our price list, detailed option by option on the packages page. With a one-off purchase, hosting and maintenance cost €450/year. Your website goes live in 14 days with KickStarter, around one month with GlowUp and around two months with Booster. You manage your website independently; full transfer of intellectual property is subject to a fee set out in the contract.
Some websites built with each package: Cyclovia and CLC Immo with KickStarter, Maket and Ulrich Carnoy with GlowUp, Château de Drogenbos and Soko Rooftop with Booster.
Then add the tools your business needs, from €19/month over 24 months. For example, Quotes & invoices (€190 setup fee, then €35/month over 24 months), which turns a signed quote into an invoice sent through Peppol, or CRM Pro to track every enquiry through to a sale. Add a module when signing up for a 24-month package and its setup fee is halved; module subscriptions fall by 10 % for two modules and 20 % for three or more.
Are grants available to fund a website?
Yes, depending on your region. In Brussels, the digitalisation grant reimburses 25 % of eligible expenses, rising to 70 % with supplements, for a project that can include a website. In Wallonia, business vouchers fund 50 % of digital advisory support, but not the website build. In both cases, you must apply before the project starts.
Brussels: the digitalisation grant
The Brussels-Capital Region reimburses 25 % of eligible expenses, rising to 70 % with supplements (businesses under 4 years old, exemplary environmental or social practices), capped at €10 000 per beneficiary per calendar year. It targets SMEs with an operating base in Brussels, for an assignment lasting no more than six months, including website development or technical improvements.
Four points to check before signing: apply through MonBEE no later than the day before the assignment starts; the minimum grant is €500 per assignment (at the base rate of 25 %, this requires at least €2 000 excl. VAT in eligible expenses); no more than two assignments are funded per calendar year; and the provider must be a specialist adviser independent of your business, with at least two years' experience. The grant funds an assignment, not an ongoing service: have Brussels Economy and Employment validate your application (official conditions, consulted in September 2026). Our article on the digitalisation grant explains the process.
Wallonia: business vouchers
Business vouchers fund advice, not the website build. The “digital maturity” voucher covers 50 % of the cost excl. VAT of an accredited provider who assesses your business, develops your digital plan and supports you (wallonie.be, page updated on 23/07/2026). Development, licensing and solution configuration costs are not eligible (Digital Wallonia). Apply through cheques-entreprises.be before the assignment starts.
How can you avoid surprises in a quote?
Compare quotes by their scope, not their total. Check whether the price excludes VAT, how many pages and revisions it includes, who writes the copy, what stays included after launch, the commitment period and who owns the website. Ask every provider these eight questions:
- Does the price exclude or include VAT?
- How many pages, languages and rounds of revisions are included?
- Who writes the copy and provides the photos?
- Are hosting, the domain name and updates included, and for how long?
- What is the commitment period, and what happens at the end (renewal price, notice period)?
- Who owns the website, domain name and content? Can you take them with you?
- Is the included SEO purely technical, or is there ongoing work?
- Do visitor enquiries arrive in an inbox, or in a tool that helps you track them?
How much does a one-page website cost?
A freelancer offers a landing page from €499 (VAT not specified, prices recorded in September 2026). At Eazyclick, this is the KickStarter package: €1,490 excl. VAT as a one-off purchase, or €69/month over 24 months with a €249 setup fee, including hosting, maintenance and a project manager.
What is the average cost of hosting and maintenance?
Among the two providers surveyed that publish these prices, maintenance costs €19 to €59/month depending on what is included: €19, €39 or €59 at a Liège freelancer, and €49 for hosting at a Hainaut agency after the first year. At Eazyclick, hosting and maintenance are included in the subscription, and cost €450/year with a one-off purchase.
Before pricing a website, check that it really is your priority: the digital maturity test ranks your needs across your website, Google, social media and advertising in 2 minutes.
