Salonkee, Planity and Treatwell are booking platforms: a calendar and, above all, a listing on their own website, where your salon appears alongside others in the neighbourhood. Eazyclick does something different: a bespoke website in your name, where your customers book directly with you, with an appointments module and a project manager. Comparing the two as they stand is comparing apples and pears. So we compare like with like: calendars module by module, real costs including commissions, and who owns your customer relationships.

At a glance

  • Treatwell takes 35 % excl. VAT on the first booking from every new customer coming through its platform, and a customer absent for more than 365 days becomes “new” again.
  • Planity does not publish its Belgian prices, and several salons report on Trustpilot that their one-year contracts were impossible to cancel.
  • Salonkee starts at €49/month, but its website costs an extra €39/month and is only available with a subscription.
  • On a platform, the listing belongs to them. Your reviews stay with Planity when you leave. Treatwell obtains permission to manage your Google profile.
  • With Eazyclick, everything is yours: the website, domain, Google reviews and customer database. No commission, unlimited practitioners.

Let's be honest: Treatwell's €525/month pays for real new customers. But they booked with Treatwell, not with you. If they return through the app, they remain its customers, and you pay 35 % again once they have been away for a year.

Who owns your customer relationships?

That is the real question, and the platforms' terms answer it:

  • Treatwell can change its fees with 30 days' notice, and its salon terms authorise it to manage your Google Business Profile.
  • Planity keeps your reviews: one salon reports on Trustpilot that after “5 years of collecting customer reviews”, it learnt on leaving that “these reviews remain exclusive to Planity”. A Belgian salon warns on 10/08/2026: “Before signing, think carefully and check everything in the contract.”
  • Salonkee: on 17/07/2026, a German salon explained on Trustpilot that it thought it could cancel monthly before discovering a one-year commitment, for “only four bookings” in six months through the platform.

With Eazyclick, your customers book on your website, in your name. Every appointment joins their record in your CRM, your Google reviews appear on your website and stay yours. And your website works for you on Google: when a customer searches for “hairdresser” in your municipality, they find your salon, not a list of competitors.

What the Bookings & appointments module does

  • your customers book 24/24 on your website, with no double bookings;
  • unlimited practitioners: the price does not rise when you hire;
  • email and WhatsApp reminders the day before the appointment;
  • every appointment updates the customer record;
  • your project manager sets up your services, durations and opening hours.

When should you keep a platform?

If you are opening and your calendar is empty, a marketplace such as Treatwell can fill your first few weeks. Keep it as a paid acquisition channel, not your main tool. For everything else, your own website and calendar cost less and belong to you.

Frequently asked questions

Does Treatwell charge commission?

Yes: 35 % excl. VAT on the first booking from a new customer through the platform, 0 % on subsequent bookings, and 2 % on online prepayments. A customer who has not visited for more than 365 days becomes new again.

How much does Planity cost in Belgium?

Planity does not publish prices on its Belgian page. It states there is no commission or installation fee, and charges €0,17 excl. VAT + 0,79 % per payment with its terminal.

Can I keep my reviews if I leave a platform?

Reviews left on a platform belong to it. Google reviews remain attached to your Google profile. Our Google reviews guide explains how to collect them.
